Lumilon Desktop is a native Windows application that brings Lumilon's translation and dictionary features out of the browser and into a standalone Electron app — accessible from anywhere on your system via global hotkeys.
The app features a frameless, draggable popup window with tabs for dictionary lookup, text translation, currency conversion, and more. A customizable global hotkey captures selected text from any application, sends it to the API, and displays results instantly — eliminating the need to switch to a browser.
Built with Electron for native OS integration (system tray, clipboard access, auto-updates) while reusing the existing web UI. Settings persist locally via electron-store, and the architecture supports future cross-platform builds.
